The term "LATAM Pass Account Number" refers to the frequent flier number assigned to you and used by LATAM Airlines or its affiliate carriers to administer the points in the LATAM Pass Program. The term "Account" used by itself shall represent the LATAM Visa Credit Card Account.
(a) We will request that LATAM Airlines award for Signature Visa Card only, two LATAM Pass Points ("points") to your LATAM Pass Account for each dollar of Net Purchases on your Card for qualified LATAM Airlines Purchases made during a billing period as long as your Account is not 5 days or more past due or overlimit at the close of your billing period. For all LATAM Visa Cards we will request that LATAM Airlines award one (1) point to your LATAM Pass Account for each dollar of Net Purchases on your Card for all other purchases (Non-LATAM Airlines Purchases) made during a billing period as long as your Account is not 5 days or more past due or overlimit at the close of your billing period. Account must be open and in good standing to earn points. Please refer to your Cardholder Agreement for additional information. We will not award points for Advances (including wire transfers, travelers checks, money orders, foreign cash transactions, betting transactions, lottery tickets and ATM disbursements), Convenience Checks, Balance Transfers, and Fees, credit insurance charges, transactions to fund certain prepaid card products, U.S. Mint purchases, or transactions to purchase cash convertible items. However, from time to time we may request points for special promotions. We reserve the right to adjust the amount of points requested from LATAM Airlines for Purchases or to stop requesting points for Purchases on the Account, upon notice to you.
(b) "LATAM Airline Purchases" means purchases where LATAM Airlines is the merchant of record on your statement and is purchased within the United States. "Net Purchases" for a billing period are determined by adding all new Purchases (LATAM Airline Purchases and Non-LATAM Airline Purchases) recorded to your Account during the billing period and subtracting any credits and chargebacks to a merchant that have been recorded to your Account during the billing period for returned Purchases. If credit for returned charges exceeds new Purchases in any billing period, the excess credit will be carried forward into successive billing periods and subtracted from future new Purchases to determine the new Purchases for those successive periods. We may round Net Purchases up or down to a whole dollar amount for purposes of awarding points.
(c) Participation in LATAM Pass is subject to the terms and conditions of LATAM Pass. Please refer to latam.com for complete LATAM Pass program details and regulations. LATAM Pass is solely responsible for the redemption and fulfillment of LATAM Pass Points. LATAM Airlines may change the LATAM Pass rules, program partners, regulations, and benefits, conditions of participation or point levels, in whole or in part, at any time with or without notice, even though changes may affect the value of points already accumulated. LATAM Pass may withdraw, limit, modify or cancel any award, increase the points required for any award, modify or regulate the transferability of awards, add an unlimited number of blackout dates or limit the number of seats available to any or all destinations. Each point awarded through the LATAM Visa Card is equal to 1.61 kilometers on your LATAM Pass account.
(d) The LATAM Pass Account Number on this Account must belong to the primary Cardmember. A change to a LATAM Pass Account Number or LATAM Pass Account must be made with LATAM Pass.
(e) LATAM Airlines is not a party to this agreement and has no authority regarding the LATAM Visa Credit Card Account, including with respect to any extension of credit on the Account. We are solely responsible for all credit extended on the Account. LATAM Airlines is not a creditor or owner of the Account. You authorize us to share information about you and your Account with LATAM Airlines and LATAM Pass. We reserve the right to change these Reward Program rules with or without notice to you.
(f) We reserve the right to amend or cancel the LATAM Visa Credit Card program or change the LATAM Visa Credit Card program benefits at any time with or without notice to you.
The creditor and issuer of the LATAM Visa Card is U.S. Bank National Association, pursuant to a license from Visa U.S.A. Inc., and this card is available to United States residents only.
